Super Mario Bros. This will be my review of an old game: Super Mario Bros. Graphics 9/10: The graphics for the 1980’s were revolutionary using multiple sprites as one character allowed Mario/Luigi to have more than 8 colors. This was common in Nintendo’s later games. Although this was not Mario’s first game, it was the first time he had flesh colored skin and an actual jump by moving his legs. Gameplay 10/10: What else could possibly be said about the game that everybody is familiar with? It has a fresh design from the boring linear Atarigames. It has a unique plot, an actual plot and there is multiple power-ups which create a sense of strategy. Sound and Music 10/10: The music is catchy and will stick in your head for the rest of your life. Anybody who played the game can remember the opening theme song from World 1-1. The theme music for the castle levels created a sense of suspense and a kid friendly fear factor. As for the sound effects...
